The video adopt the codes of advertising clips that can be seen in DIY stores. The rudimentary toolmaking gives them an almost prehistoric aspect even though they combine natural materials with synthetic trashes. Multiple attempts to control these objects remain without success. Their functionality is biased. It is only through belief and confidence that we project into them and the powers given to them that they find their potential properties (tools for strange measurements, invisible phenomena recordings, conjuring tricks or strange rituals). Demonstrations tend toward absurdity with a certain humor and question the notion of efficiency, between enchantment and disenchantment. The precarious and awkward aesthetics of the video evokes the experiments made in the studio of an artist.
